Pipet Guard for Hand Protection
DESCRIPTION
The pipet guard is an optional safety feature to prevent lab technicians from hitting their hands on glass pipets or needles when swapping between inserts in a dry block MULTIVAP. It is a plastic guard that clips onto MULTIVAP units right below the pipets or needles. It was developed for instances where technicians find that their inserts have become stuck in the block and are having trouble removing them. The video below demonstrates how the pipet guard is used.
